The Maatjes, a real-life Dutch family in Nickelodeon's cartoon on TV
A real-life Dutch family is getting ready to see themselves and their lives as a cartoon on TV.
The Dutch family is chosen from thousands to be the model for Nickelodeon's cartoon.
The TV channel was after a family which was a cross between the Simpsons and The Osbournes for the new show.
And they found the Maatjes!
They are made up of mum, dad and three kids.
The search for the perfect cartoon family started in July 2004.
The Maatjes were chosen because they have such a nice and hectic lifestyle, say the cartoon makers.
And they were very pleased about winning. Mum Dalina said: "We can't speak with excitement.
We feel like superstars and love to see our own cartoon!"
